IL - Warehouse Flooring System Case Study

Problem:

An existing client took back possession of a warehouse at the conclusion of the tenant's lease.  Unfortunately, the tenant had left the warehouse in less than desirable shape.

Initial review:

We walked the warehouse with our client and identified the floor's problem areas.  The warehouse was very large and the number of repairs needed was extensive.  We conducted several meetings with management and developed a plan that proposed a value engineered flooring system.  This system would show the facility in a better light with performance to cost ratios that were acceptable.

Work Performed:

First, we had to remove the existing double seeded epoxy system since it was severely damaged and was peeling in many areas.  Once the floor was removed, we installed a new epoxy floor system.  This system made the warehouse more appealing to future tenants.

Final Result:

Our client was completely satisfied with our work.  Several months later a potential new tenant actually purchased the facility.
