Sweet Thing Bake Shop Opens New Bakery in Northbrook
We worked alongside Sweet Thing Bake Shop on their new bakery location in Northbrook. Our focus was to improve their commercial kitchen flooring. Their new facility includes mixing stations, a wash station, ovens, a production area, a decorating station, product packaging and product storage. The goal was to give them a safe and clean kitchen environment. We started the project by power scraping some carpet mastic off the floor and then ground to achieve a profile for coating adhesion. All cracks and joints were filled with a polyurea filler. We finished by rolling two coats of epoxy, giving the kitchen a clean, monolithic surface. Sweet Thing Bake Shop now has a durable and reliable kitchen area to produce all their sweet treats. We would highly recommend trying all their yummy treats.
